My "Mallory Fix"

I had to go to Parsons this weekend to get a "Mallory Fix". It is hard to believe that my baby niece is already 2 months old! We all had a nice visit. Jamie surprised me by having the whole family over for dinner. Here are few pictures from our wonderful weekend.

Good day!!

Today I went to Wichita and went shopping for myself. It was extremely hard to walk past all the things I knew the kids would like, but I did it. I got a couple of outfits and got my hair cut and colored. It was really nice to pamper myself...I needed it!!

This evening, while Mike was at work and Abbey was at church, I took Eli and Tori to the park to play. It was such a nice evening. The wind was blowing the leaves off the trees. It is really starting to look like fall!

All Aboard!

After school yesterday, the kids and I met Mike at work and went to see the 1940's steam engine that they had on display in the yard at Herington. It was a lot of work to get Eli anywhere near. It was big. loud and a little too scary for him!! Eventually, he got brave enough to stand about 5-6 feet in front of it so I could take his picture...lol!!

Paint Party!

I may have lost my mind, but I agreed to let Abbey and her friends paint the storage room in the basement! They thought it would make a nice place to hang out. They've got a stereo, Karaoke machine, some old barstools and a futon. Adding the pink and green paint really made it a place they could call their own. Abbey even let Tori and her friends help a little. I must say, that even though the colors are a bit much for me...it really did turn out pretty cool and with very little help from me.
